The entire team at Deva Racing is delighted to have Leonna Mayor onboard as an ambassador for the group. A passionate horse racing fan who previously delivered 34 winners as a flat racing jockey for Dandy Nichols and Jamie Osbourne,
Leonna was unfortunately forced to retire due to injury, turning her attention to a new challenge. She duly moved seamlessly into her role as a well-respected racing pundit on Sky Sports Racing and ITV Racing. By her own admission, Leonna says she talks too much, so was always destined for a career in the media! She has since developed a superb reputation amongst fans for her straight-talking style, combined with her wealth of knowledge and warm, bubbly personality.
Having known she wanted to be a jockey from the age of 14, Leonna still takes the reins from time-to-time, owning her own event horse and regularly riding to keep fit. We’re honoured to have her as part of our team and can’t wait for Leonna to join our team when hosting our syndicate owners at races and stable events across the United Kingdom!
